VALERIA MARTÍNEZ

Director

Valeria is currently a Director at Ad Astra in the Grants Management division, where she serves as a subject matter expert in the Disaster Recovery and Grants Management field in Puerto Rico. Prior to her current role, she spent four years at CGI Inc. as a Business Analyst, working closely on the development and implementation of the Disaster Recovery Solution (DRS), the COR3 grant management system that provides centralized tracking of the historic disasters the island has faced since 2017. During her time as an Analyst at CGI Inc., Valeria demonstrated her ability to effectively engage with client stakeholders to define, refine, and document requirements for reporting and business needs. She also gained experience in designing wireframes for dashboards and data visualizations, as well as identifying opportunities for improving existing business processes.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Valeria enjoys visiting local galleries and museums, writing in local cafés, actively participating in public speaking opportunities, and advocating for grant processes that prioritize data-driven decision-making. Additionally, Valeria is part of the Labf3s Program of the Titín Foundation. She is certified as a Competitive Proposal Writer through Ana G.
