Loreana joined Ad Astra on July 2021 and she created the Grants Management practice. She is a Certified Public Accountant with 16 years of experience in financial auditing and audit readiness for the federal government, as well as subject matter experience in grants management and disaster recovery funds. She worked state-side for the Big-4s and Accenture for 10 years, Ms. González-Lazzarini was able to gain valuable experience in leadership roles where she developed and improved audit processes while managing a wide range of clients and team members.

She led the six CDBG-DR economic development programs for PRDOH Grant Managers and has provided crucial support to the government at PREPA, COR3 and NGOs on various matters within the field of disaster recovery fund management.
Additionally, she has provided change management guidance, process improvement implementations, and post-grant compliance technical assistance for DDEC, PRTC, BDE, PRDF, PRDOE, DRNA, DTOP, and PROMB. She is also President of the Board of Directors of the Metro Women Business Center from Friends of Puerto Rico and she is a Entreprenuers Organization (EO) Puerto Rico member.
